So You Want to Be A Waiter
- Study counters prevailing restaurant menu theories | Nation’s Restaurant News February 11, 2012This is interesting. I didn’t know that there was an “industry standard” diagram for menu reading. Look for corporate minions to over-react and rush new menus out to their far-flung outposts via Fed Ex. http://nrn.com/article/study-counters-prevailing-restaurant-menu-theories?ad=newsteleburst

Thanks for using my image of the Petite Sirah grape. You can attribute the photo to Jo Diaz, taken at Foppiano Vineyards.
DNA has been proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, by Dr. Carole Meredith of UC Davis. PS is the crossing of Syrah (father) with lesser known Peloursin (mother).
Francois Durif did the crossing in the early 1800′s. For more info, check out http://www.psiloveyou.org, the advocacy group for PS, which I founded in 2002, and am still the exec. director.
Our site has the most current information on Petite Sirah… always.
Thanks for the attribution. The site where I found the image didn’t have an attribution. You can find it yourself by using the image feature of Google and typing in Petite Sirah. It should show up about third or fourth. That will take you to the site that’s using the image. Of course, I’m happy to remove it if you wish, but I trust that the attribution is enough.
I did visit the PS I Love You site. It’s well maintained. I hope that you thought I represented the characteristics of the grape in a satisfactory manner in the short amount of space that I had (other than referring to the back and forth and sometimes conflicting information of what the grape itself is).
Very informative. I will have to try one next time I get a bottle. Thanks.
Werd-up. QQ
