NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The famed “Biscuit Lady” of Nashville’s Loveless Cafe has died.

A spokesperson for the restaurant said that Carol Fay Ellison, who has been with the cafe for almost 30 years, had been getting treatment but didn’t comment on the nature of her medical condition.

Perhaps you saw her on Bobby Flay’s “Throwdown!” series. She was also on Conan O’Brien and The Today Show.

She was a real character and she will be missed.
